ECO DOG TREATS
All of our low fattening, delicious and nutritious treats are freshly baked to order, and enjoy the UMAMI taste and all the vitamins and minerals a dog needs.

Our Original treat started it’s life as a delicious treat that was also nutritious. A canine nutritionist and a vet developed a superfood protein power and this forms a third of all the treats, which are freshly baked with tahini, brown rice flour and oat milk.

Ginger was added to the mix which is well known as an anti-inflammatory and amongst other things it helps combat nausea and bad breath. It is a natural antibiotic which fights heartworm.
Activated Charcoal was added to a biscuit and because these are freshly baked the dog has to chew them and the charcoal acts as an abrasive, cleaning the teeth. Because the carbon cannot be absorbed into the body, it attracts the bad toxins in the stomach (many dogs have a propensity to eat poo) and when it vacates it’s bowels, out goes the smelly wind and diarrhoea.
Turmeric has been found to be antiviral, anti-inflammatory and a natural anti-bacterial helping to fight diseases like arthritis, dementia, diabetes, irritable bowel problems and cancer.
Happy Dog Happy Planet has developed possible the healthiest, really tasty treats for dogs. At the heart of the treats is a superfood protein powder developed by a vet and canine nutritionist. These treats contain all the vitamins and minerals a dog needs but as a treat. These are not meant to replace the food that your dog enjoys, they will bring a healthy balance to the diet.
Our Umami treats are actually vegan which raised the question, are dogs really able to eat them and gain the nutrition they need for a healthy life? A close look at the anatomy, behaviour and feeding preferences of dogs shows that they are actually omnivorous — able to eat and remain healthy with both animal and plant foodstuffs. There is nothing wrong with a balanced diet!
The Original treats are a tasty treat for your dog, they are a complimentary food. The recommendation is for small dogs 1 – 2 daily, medium 2 – 3 daily and large dogs 3 – 4 daily.
These treats contain nuts, seed & gluten. Shapes and shades may vary. They are suitable for dogs over 6 months.
Because they are freshly baked to order, they require refrigeration when bought for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months. Always observe the best before date.
Treats will easily last five days out of the fridge so postage will not be an issue.
Always provide fresh drinking water for your dog and supervise when feeding a treat.
Composition: 35% Superfood Protein Base, 35% Oat Milk, 23% Brown Rice Flour, 7% Tahini
In addition, treats can be used for the extra wellbeing of the dog and as such they have been supercharged with additional goodness. The composition remains similar to the original with the exception that the Superfood Protein Base and the Oat Milk are reduced by 1% each and the additional goodness is an added 2% of either Ginger, Activated Charcoal and Turmeric.
The GINGER treats should not be given to pregnant or lactating dogs. Caution is required with diabetic dogs or those with heart conditions. Not recommended before surgery – check with your vet.
