We Supply healthy and balanced, fresh, homecooked plant-based dog food and are leading the way in a feeding our dogs in a kinder way. Kinder for them, the animals and the planet.

The development of the treats to provide an ethical and nutritious dog treat for a dog was a priority for Happy Dog Happy Planet. Our research found that many commercial biscuits are bulked up with low nutritional value ingredients such as vegetable glycerine, potato flour, starch or ‘meat and animal derivatives’ which could be anything!

 

The research did not reveal anything that Happy Dog Happy Planet was happy with, so we embarked upon a a mission to find a treat that really nourishes at the same time as rewarding a dog.

 

The only way to do this was to develop our own treat. So we found a vet who had created the ultimate superfood protein mix, with ethically sourced premium organic ingredients which, with a couple of additional natural ingredients, are baked into highly nutritious biscuits. Our dogs love them, they are full of beans with lovely glossy coats, white teeth and fresh breath. No smelly wind either!

 

It raised the question, why do we buy treats that don’t actually nourish your dog when they can have these? Hence the birth of Happy Dog Happy Planet, providing possibly the healthiest, premium quality, superfood rich, nutritious and delicious Umami dog treats as well as a range of eco-friendly accessories made from biodegradable, recycled or recyclable materials.

 

We try to maintain as low a carbon footprint as possible. In addition, we strive to make sure that everything that we offer is 100% home compostable and biodegradable, this includes our Poo bags. Any packaging that is used is predominantly recycled. By moving away from animal sourced protein and therefore using less methane, Happy Dog Happy Planet is truly living up to it’s name.
